Rajouri, June 25: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, Lt Gen P.K. Mishra, visited the Headquarters of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) to review the prevailing security situation and assess operational preparedness amid the ongoing counter-terrorism grid in Jammu & Kashmir.

Review of Security Environment

During the visit, the GOC was briefed on the current security environment, operational readiness and the ongoing counter-terrorism operations being conducted in the region. The review focused on maintaining a high level of preparedness to effectively respond to emerging security challenges.

Lt Gen Mishra commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication and relentless commitment in carrying out counter-terrorism operations. He praised the troops for maintaining high morale, operational vigilance and their unwavering focus on ensuring peace, stability and security in the region.

Focus on Counter-Terrorism

The visit comes as security forces continue sustained counter-terrorism operations across the Jammu region, particularly in the Pir Panjal belt, where the Army, Jammu & Kashmir Police and other security agencies remain engaged in anti-terror operations and area domination exercises.
