New Delhi/Colombo: India has dispatched a fresh consignment of 500 litres of Technical Malathion to Sri Lanka as part of its continued public health and humanitarian cooperation, aimed at strengthening the island nation’s mosquito-control efforts and preventing vector-borne diseases.
The assistance comes amid seasonal concerns over the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses, with Sri Lankan authorities expected to deploy the chemical in targeted vector-control operations across vulnerable areas.
