Jammu, August 9: Jammu Police, in coordination with B & F Company of the 60th Battalion, BSF, conducted a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the Arnia sector of Jammu on Sunday as part of ongoing security and area-domination measures.

The operation was carried out in Aik Nallah, Kool Kalan and adjoining areas falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Arnia.

10–15 Houses and Kullas Searched

The joint operation commenced at around 6 PM and continued for approximately two hours, concluding at 8 PM.

During the operation, security personnel conducted thorough searches of around 10 to 15 houses and kullas in the identified areas.

The exercise was aimed at strengthening surveillance, maintaining vigilance and checking the area as part of routine security measures along the sensitive border belt.

Security Forces Maintain Vigilance

The coordinated operation involving Jammu Police and the BSF forms part of continued security efforts and area domination activities in the region.

Officials said the operation was conducted smoothly and the situation remained normal throughout.

Security forces continue to maintain heightened vigilance in border areas to ensure the safety and security of local residents and to promptly detect any suspicious activity.
